Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Fall 2012...

I Know there have been a few other blogs who have made mention of Lauren Conrads new lookbook for her Fall 2012 LC for Khol's but I had to also share. Not only are the clothes stunningly feminine but they are completely wearable for everyday life. I do not think there was one piece that I did not love and want in my closet. With the gorgeous fabrics and flowy pieces they are bound to be comfortable as well. I adore the new Fall line and I equally adore her hair. Long flowing loose waves with the perfect ombre. I could not help but stare at her hair in every photo as I was going through the new line.

On another note the end to this week is going to be quite busy for me and I am not going to share any news yet as I don't want to jinx things and nothing is official. But a quick note that I may not have a post up here tomorrow. So that said I wish you all a beautiful weekend and I will see you next week with (cross your fingers) some exciting news!

Celebrity Style...Audrina Patridge...Im in love

I honestly don't know of anyone who rocks a wardrobe full of basics as well as Audrina Patridge. I love how casual her clothing style is yet how edgy and feminine it remains. The amount of basics in this womans closet must be out of control and I wish I could have them all! A while back I did a post about the celebrity stylings of Rachel Bilson and how much I adore her fashion choices as well. Audrina certainly takes the cake for everyday wear, as her styling looks so effortlessly fabulous. Which celebrity closet would you like to adopt as your own?

Celebrity Style...Rachel Bilson...Im in love

From the girl next door on the The OC to taking the streets by storm, Rachel Bilson has a fashion style and sense that I love! Wether she is casual in jeans and flats or dressed to the nines I adore everything she wears! If I could have one celebs closet right now, it would he hers! Who's closet would you like to raid?

"Getting older ain't for sissies, I'll tell ya." Iris Apfel

Now this is a woman that more of us should look up to. She has style, she has grace, she has elegance, she has class and most of all she has sense. I came across an interview today showcasing the lovely Iris Apfel and I think I was smiling the entire time that I was reading it. I also got very excited because she has come out with her own line of lipstick, eye shadows and nail polish with MAC. Seriously? How can you not be excited. I think that I am most looking forward to the line of Lipstick. She has created a line that is bold, bright colours that are a matte finish. I personally love a matte finish. I never used to wear a lot of make up. Wether it was eye shadow or lip stick I always shied away from it because I was not used to seeing myself in it. I also did not want to draw attention to myself (I know weird right?). But I had dabbled more into make up as I got older and I still do not wear a whole lot, my eye shadow if worn is usually nude tones and for my lips is always just plain old lip gloss or chap or my fav bright pink lipstick. Regardless I am beyond excited to see the colours that Iris has come up with. 

Now in getting back to my reasoning behind Iris Apfel being someone to look up to as a wonderful role model. She has so many great values and outlooks on life. This article really emphasizes how much she embraces what she was born with. ‘Nothing makes a woman look so old as trying desperately hard to look young’. I think you can be attractive at any age. I think trying to look like a spring chicken when you’re not makes you look ridiculous.' I love it. She is so witty and full of self confidence which I think makes anyone that much more beautiful at any age! I think if women put some more of the time and money they put on their heads in their heads, they’d be better off. I mean, nobody’s going to think you’re thirty-two, so what’s the point?' One of my favourite portions of the article by far. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against plastic surgery. If it is something that will make you feel better about yourself or give you the confidence you need to feel good then to each there own. I only ever truly disagree with choosing plastic surgery is when you are doing it for wrong reasons. Reasons such as making someone else happy or trying to fit that 'Hollywood Beaty'. What I love most about the topics Iris discussed in this article is that she truly means what she says. She has her own opinion and point of view and doesn't stray from what she truly feels and believes. 

At the beautiful age of 90 Iris has not slowed down one ounce. From creating a makeup line with MAC, designing glasses for Eye Bobs to doing a program with the Fashion School at the University of Texas. This is one woman that will let nothing slow her down.

Fashion Icon

There are countless fashion icons who have paved the way for fabulous fashion for many years. I have to say my fav is Audrey Hepburn. Hepburn is the epitome of class, sexy and feminine wrapped up in one fab little package. She has certainly paved the way for many of the timeless fashion trends we have seen over the years and still today.

Take the Cat Eye Sunglasses for example, Hepburn was known to sport these sex kitten frames on more than one occasion. They are one accessory that I feel is a must have.

Another example is the go to staple in every woman's closet. The fabulous Little Black Dress. Hepburn was one to pull off this look with such elegance and class with a side of sexy.

Along with the Cat Eye Sunglasses is the eyeliner. I personally love this look it is so sexy and fun. You can wear this look from day to night effortlessly. Hepburn is one fashion icon we have to thank for this one!

One trend that never seems to grow old is the mens button down dress shirt. Woman across the world have been thieving these garments for years! They are so comfortable and I think they scream sex appeal.  Wether your lounging around the house on a Sunday morning or out on the town, this shirt is so versatile it deserves a spot in every woman's wardrobe.
