Epitome of a girly home! Friday Love...
Stark white, pops of bright colour, girly and all with a little eclectic mix thrown in. I came across this beautiful home tour via Style at Home and I had to share it with you. The owner of this adorable, stunning space is Marlie Waks, sister of the design editor of Style at Home Jessica Waks. The two paired up and designed a space that would be perfectly in tune with Marlies personality. They also wanted to reflect Marlies love of white rooms and furniture. Throwing in loads of colour to contrast the neutral pallet this condo is the epitome of a girly home. I adore the colours, pink and orange with pops of yellow. What girl wouldn't love to live here? And those Chanel prints above her couch? Love!

My favourite little nooks and corners around my office...
The title really does speak for itself here but, sitting in my office I was glancing around as usual at my favourite little nooks and corners. From my white lion, vases and pictures, to a letter I found from my mom. Throughout our home I have my favourite items and corners, some with sentimental value and others are just pure lust for objects!
Above: The earrings I am wearing today posed at the bottom of my favourite picture frame
Below: Again the same little posed earrings, my wallet from my coffee run earlier and well a magazine, these seem to be strewn around every so often.
Above: One of my favourite things to look at when I am missing my mom, I have this letter from her pinned on my cork board and sometimes it makes me miss her more, other times it makes me smile brighter.
Below: My absolute favourite picture of my mom, how cute is this with the doggie in the background.
Much Love...

Outdoor Space Inspiration
I have said this before but Pinterest is the greatest site to go for all sorts of inspiration and I have been drooling over some of the outdoor spaces that I have seen recently. This Spring/Summer we have really been trying to update and finish our backyard and it is coming along quite nicely. There is however so much more that we want to do and Im sure more to come after that with all the amazing photos I am coming across. Here are a few of my favourites, you can find the rest here.

Spring/Summer Flower Wreath DIY
I saw something similar to this somewhere on the internet while browsing around one day a while ago but finally decided to try my hand at creating my own Flower Wreath. I came across some surprisingly cute flowers at the Dollar Store the other day so this DIY turned out to be completely budget friendly as well! (which is a huge bonus) I was kind of unsure as to how it was going to turn out but once I got started I loved it!
What you will need:
Flowers (fake)
Wreath (I chose to use a wreath made out of wrapped twigs purchased from Micheals craft store. I chose this wreath because if it shows around the sides it looks great!)
Hot glue gun
Glue Sticks
Scissors
Some creativity
The size of wreath you choose to use depends on the size you want your wreath to be, keep in mind it will become a little larger once the flowers have been added.
Glueing the flowers in place will ensure that your wreath stays intact while hanging on your door, you don't want to come out after a windy day and have half your work blown away.
I chose to use two different types of flowers in three colours green, yellow and white. The flowers come attached so use scissors or wire cutters as I had to use because these particular flowers had wire in the stem. Keep a stem on each flower so that you can finagle and embed it into the wreath to also keep it in place.
Once you have all of your flowers cut start glueing them to your wreath.
I scattered the different colours and flowers in a random pattern on the wreath which looks much better than a uniform pattern.
Keep sticking and glueing as you make your way around your wreath base.
........and there you have it! Your finished custom floral wreath.
Here is myn finished and hanging on my front door. I love the bright colours which will be perfect for summer!
Enjoy! Happy DIYing!

I am slowly adding to our master bedroom but it is a work in progress. While skimming through some photos for a few new ideas I came across some amazing bedrooms that I would certainly never want to leave.

Crazy for Wallpaper!
Now you may think that wallpaper is 'old' or 'tacky' maybe even 'goddy' but, it has come such a long way since the boarders of grapevines and ugly roses. I have fallen in love with wallpaper. It is such an easy way to add interest to a room, even the back of a shelf or cabinet. But in the case of wallpaper the saying 'Less is more' really applies here. Using a very bold wallpaper sparingly will really pay off in the end, especially if you are looking to add it to a smaller room or bathroom. In the case of a small room and even a larger room, a fun way to add lots of interest without jumping in with two feet is to choose one wall and make that your accent wall. Some ideas could be behind your head board, behind shelving that does not have a backing to it which will allow the wallpaper to show through, or just about any wall that you want to be the focal point of the space. Adding an accent wall is a fabulous way to bring a room from drab to absolutely fab!
My absolute fav wallpaper has to be the 'Damask' pattern. It is both traditional and modern in a sense by having two contrasting colours like black and white for instance. The intricate pattern really draws the eye and looks absolutely stunning! But there are more patterns than just 'Damask' that look fabulous. You could even try a bold stripe or alternate floral pattern, or even an interesting abstract pattern. But always keep in the back of your mind "less is more". And also remember not to choose a pattern that may be too much or too bold and colourful, you want to choose something that you will enjoy for longer than a month! If you are unsure about wallpaper but what to give it a try there are a ton of options that have a subtle pattern but will still look gorgeous.
Enjoy!
